Arbeitsbeschreibung - Senior Development Engineer Implants (m/w/d)

In this position you will be responsible for product development from the initial idea to series production in the development area of implants with the following tasks:

New and further product developments in fulfilment of regulatory requirements
Drafting and following up project plans
Creation of CAD design drawings and preparation of production documents such as drawing derivations and parts lists
Support in the preparation of technical documentation and approval documents
Co-operation with manufacturing and development partners
Coordination of external tests, e.g. mechanical tests, biocompatibility, sterilisation, etc.
Carrying out tests for verification and validation

Completed technical or scientific studies or comparable training, e.g. specialising in mechanical engineering or medical technology
Very good knowledge of German and English
Regulatory knowledge in technical documentation for international approvals
Knowledge of the normative requirements for implants
Good knowledge of MS Office products
Good CAD knowledge desirable
Proven experience and success in the development of implants
Strong communication skills
Accuracy and conscientiousness
