Senior Director Legal Counsel

Advise and support the EMEA leadership team on business development, commercial and research transactions, reimbursement, and market access. Provide strategic legal guidance to drive the expansion of the company's commercial activities across EMEA. Develop and implement legal strategies that align with the company's business objectives and growth plans. Advise on essential changes to the company's Compliance Program due to expansion into new regions or markets or reimbursement relationships. Coordinate with regulatory agencies and assist in compliance program management, including reviews, audits, and investigations. Support board and committee meeting preparations for international subsidiaries, including assembling meeting materials and drafting resolutions. Proficient in English with excellent communication skills. Ability to independently create legal documents and handle tracked changes and version control. Experience handling outside counsel relationships. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and contract database systems. Ability to effectively present information to groups of customers or employees. Typically requires a law degree (licenced attorney) with 17+ years of industry experience . 13+ years of successful leadership experience in relevant industry. In-depth knowledge of the Medtech industry, including regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements, and market dynamics within Europe. Experience with legal issues related to medical devices, including product development, clinical trials, regulatory approvals, and post-market surveillance. Familiarity with European medical device regulations (e.g., MDR) and other relevant international standards. Consistent track record of supporting commercial teams in the Medtech sector, including advising on market access, reimbursement strategies, and commercial partnerships. Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and provide strategic legal advice to support business growth and innovation in the Medtech field.
