In this role as Marketing & Communications leader will be responsible for developing and driving awareness in both digital and offline presence for the retail operations for all communication and launches to deepen customer relationships, and consumer awareness, drive awareness and adoption.
Your vision will empower the team and drive marketing strategies and go-to-market programs. Driving both marketing campaigns to press and marketing material. A professional who will maximize social engagement across all channels and platforms and focus on revenue generation and growth and ROI incentives. A key driver on CSR, Internal and external responsibility, a duty to align the workforce and peers for the vision for the future.
You will design, create, align and execute end-to-end marketing initiatives that drive innovative and advanced launches along with targeted campaigns in various markets/channels/segments/target users, from driving customer events and internal and external communications for the group.
Responsibilities
The new marketing leader will have a fundamental basic understanding of the growth stages of a recognized retail brand of driving a fast-paced retail business to make operations smooth and profitable. A hands-on leader who has a track record and demonstrable history of delivering growth and revenues whilst maintaining focus on the brand, products, pricing, and identity of the brand. The critical factor is a dynamic commercial marketing leader who can maximise growth, revenues, social responsibility, followings and ROI.
A leader who has a solid understanding of Retail/FMCG and seasonal trends, a solid innovator who has a solid passion for the brands and understands the German retail landscape and marketplace.
JOB PURPOSE:
The Marketing leader in partnership with the CEO, is responsible for the success of the group's online, digital, marketing, communications and CSR and assures its relevance to the community, the accomplishment Organization’s mission and vision, and the accountability of its diverse constituents.
This will take on an existing successful portfolio of brands and products and maximize the business growth, marketing, sales, and retail. We are looking for innovators, hands-on leaders who can implement change and drive growth, a people leader who can build and develop winning teams.
Management and Administration
2. Assures program quality and organizational stability through the development and implementation of standards and controls, systems and procedures, and regular evaluation.
3. Assures a work environment that recruits, retains, and supports quality staff. Assures process for selecting, developing, motivating, and evaluating staff.
4. Specifies accountabilities for management personnel and evaluates performance regularly.
Mission, Policy and Planning
1. Helps the CEO determine values, mission, vision, and short- and long-term goals for their remit/region
2. Helps monitor and evaluate relevancy to the community, its effectiveness, and its results.
3. Keeps the CEO fully informed on the condition of the group and all the important factors influencing them.
4. Identifies problems and opportunities and addresses them; brings those that are appropriate to the CEO and/or its committees; and facilitates discussion and deliberation.
5. Inform the CEO and its committees about trends, issues, problems, and activities to facilitate policymaking. Recommend policy positions.
Legal Compliance
Assures the filing of all legal and regulatory documents and monitors compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Community Relations
1. Facilitates the integration of the group into the fabric of the community by using effective Marketing and communications activities. Build trust in the marketplace.
2. Acts as an advocate, within the public and private sectors, for issues relevant to the group and its services
3. Listens to clients/customers/suppliers and the community to improve services and generate community involvement.
4. Serves as chief spokesperson for the group, assuring proper representation of the group to the community.
5. Initiates, develops, and maintains cooperative relationships with key areas & works with regulatory agencies, and represents a healthy relationship.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent degree.
10+ years at Senior Marketing Executive Director level
Experience within the German cultures and workplaces.
A true leader who has led big box large format multi merchandising stores.
Proven record in delivering growth year on year and has taken new brands and products to market.
A digital marketing leader who has a record of longevity and stability delivering growth YOY.
A track record within major big box multi-format store retailers across Europe or a major FMCG giant.
A marketing leader who understands the German marketplace, Austria and DACH regions. The perfect profile would be a leader who has built French markets.

A high level of personal skills is required to make formal, persuasive presentations to groups and to deal effectively with people from all segments of the community. A high energy profile is a must with a no-fear attitude.
The individual must be comfortable with diversity and respectful of a wide range of faiths, beliefs, and experiences.
Leading change: The Marketing leader possesses the skills and implements the functions of a leader. S/he shares the group's values, mission, and vision. S/he consistently displays integrity, models behaviour, develops people and builds teams. This individual deals effectively with demanding situations and designs and implements interventions.
Motivating: The Marketing leader manages continuity, change and transition. This individual knows how to influence and enable others. S/he addresses the impact of attitude and action on the group and its participants.
