About Ivy

Ivy is building an API to move money at internet speed. We enable businesses to accept instant bank payments - taking cards & wallets out of online transactions and reducing cost by up to 10x. Over 60 geographies worldwide are rolling out instant bank payment infrastructure right now. Ivy harmonises these regional bank payment schemes, bringing them to a single point of access.

• Our current team consists of payment experts coming from companies like Klarna, Trade Republic, Revolut, TrueLayer, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, McKinsey, BCG, Trustly.

• Our HQ is in Berlin, Germany.

• We are working with many of Europe's fastest-growing merchants and innovators (e.g. alphacomm.io, mytheresa.com, vnx.li). 

• Up to today, we have raised $30M of funding from Valar Ventures and Creandum which previously backed fintechs like Wise, Klarna, Qonto, N26, and Trade Republic together with founders and industry executives from Adyen, Pleo, N26, Mollie, and Plaid as angel investors.

Your Mission

As senior engineer, you will work and lead projects with a small, able team. You will work full stack on our core product. You will join as engineer #11 and work in a tightly-knit team, driving and contributing to key technical decisions.

Your Responsibilities

• Working fullstack on the product

• Executing projects in small teams

• Build features with a “you build it, you run it” mindset, taking responsibility for testing, deployment, and monitoring.

• Research complex technical problems and push strategic initiatives

Your Profile

• Technical Expertise: You built a production system before, preferably with Typescript & Node.

• Problem Solving: You can easily go super deep into complex problems and solve them.

• High Agency: You have a natural bias to action and want to fix things on the go.

• Team Collaboration: You enjoy working with a small team to ship high-quality code quickly.

• Drive and Ambition: Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve high standards.
