Position Overview:
We encourage applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of gender identity. As a guideline, you will be on-site in Tutzing 2-3 days per week for close collaboration and alignment. The remaining days can be worked remotely.
Lobster helps supply chain teams keep data flowing when systems and partners all work differently. The data integration platform (iPaaS) trusted by logistics, manufacturing, and retail companies. Built for industry-specific workflows from ERP to last mile so teams can adapt fast, stay in control, and operate from one place. Our flagship event, the Lobster Data Hero Summit, is growing to 1,000+ attendees in 2027 and we’re building a year-round events programme across DACH, Benelux, Nordics, UK, and France.
At Lobster, events are where our brand meets the market. They’re where pipeline gets built, customers become advocates, and supply chain leaders discover what’s possible with data. We’re looking for a Senior Event Manager who can turn a room full of CIOs into a community - and a conference into a commercial engine.
We don’t do “just events.”
You’ll get to take ownership of:
Lobster's entire event engine - from strategy to execution. You won't just plan events: you'll build the playbook that turns offline experiences into measurable pipeline and positions Lobster as the brand supply chain leaders want to be associated with.
- Lobster's annual events and experiences strategy across owned events (Data Hero Summit, executive roundtables, customer meetups), external conferences (trade fairs, partner events, industry summits), and digital activations (webinars, virtual roundtables)
- The Lobster Data Hero Summit 2027 - our flagship event for 1,000+ supply chain, IT, and data leaders, from venue selection and speaker programme to attendee experience and commercial activation
- Regional satellite events across DACH, Benelux, Nordics, UK, and France that feed into and extend the flagship moment
- The sales activation layer around every event: pre-event outreach, on-site meeting orchestration, post-event follow-up sequences, and pipeline attribution
- The event ROI framework - tracking leads generated, meetings booked, influenced pipeline, and cost per opportunity across all formats
- The offline-to-digital bridge - extending event impact through content repurposing, live social amplification, on-demand libraries, and digital community engagement
- End-to-end event delivery including budgeting, vendor management, creative direction, and on-site execution
- Community & partnership development - building relationships with industry associations, tech alliances, and local networks to extend Lobster's event footprint
