Arbeitsbeschreibung - Senior Expert Produktdesign und Prozessentwicklung (m/w/d)

We will only have a real impact if we scale our technology and plan, develop and standardize it professionally. That is why we are looking for a Senior Expert Product Design and Process Development (m/f/d) with creative ideas and a strategic mindset to join our Chemical Reactors team.

Responsible for product design and development of new products, including concept development, technical specifications and implementation of design ideas
Development or selection and qualification of suitable (manufacturing) processes
Continuous optimization of product designs and the product development process (PEP), to achieve efficiency gains and quality improvements
Working closely with the team to establish clear guidelines and standards for developing 3D models, creating documentation and making design decisions
Conduct feasibility studies and risk analysis to ensure products developed meet functionality, quality, cost and schedule requirements
Work closely with manufacturing and quality management to ensure seamless integration of design and development processes
Monitoring and evaluating trends in product design and process development
Train and mentor team members to improve their skills and knowledge in the areas of product design and process development

Completed scientific or technical studies (mechanical engineering, process engineering, industrial engineering or comparable field of study)
Relevant professional experience in the field of product design and process development
Understanding of design principles and standards and their application in practice (design for manufacturing)
Ability to work in a highly structured manner
Analytical mindset and problem solving skills to review and improve existing standards
Continuous pursuit of professional development and open-mindedness towards new trends and technologies in the field of product design and development
Very good written and spoken German and English (B2)
