As a Financial Operations Specialist, you’ll blend essential bookkeeping tasks with financial analysis, making sure we stay agile, accurate, and ready for what’s next. You’ll have a hand in everything from daily transaction management to monthly financial reporting and budget analysis, working alongside a passionate team eager to make an impact and report directly to the top management.
Own the recording and categorization of all financial transactions, keeping our books accurate and up-to-date.
Pre-accounting in Datev.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring smooth and timely payments.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to keep us on track.
Assist with payroll processing and manage employee expense reimbursements.
Prepare basic financial statements (income statement, balance sheet) to give us a clear picture of our financial health.
Interact with the fiscal authorities.
Interactt with the tax advisor.
Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting, helping to highlight key insights and trends.
Assist in budget planning and forecasting, tracking actuals against budgets and identifying variances.
Contribute to financial analysis efforts, exploring patterns in revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
Help implement and refine internal controls to keep our financials tight, compliant, and audit-ready.
Partner with team leads to provide insights on cost-saving opportunities and strategic budgeting.
A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related experience that’s given you solid financial chops.
5+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced or startup environment.
Proficiency with accounting software and love for all things Excel.
A solid understanding of accounting principles and how financial data tells a story.
Great communication skills—able to share insights in a way that makes sense to non-finance folks too.
