Arbeitsbeschreibung - Senior Functional Safety Consultant / Project Manager (m/w/d)

Take on a role model position for junior consultants and share your extensive expertise in the field of Functional Safety
Advise national and international clients on the development of innovative hardware and software solutions with a focus on safety –in areas such as autonomous driving, over-the-air updates, e-mobility, and other cutting-edge technologies
Ensure traceability of Functional Safety over the whole v-cycle.
Independently manage customer projects and gain valuable experience in the technical leadership of teams
Analyze system architectures, hardware, and embedded software for vulnerabilities regarding Functional Safety requirements, using methods such as HARA and FMEA
Develop and conduct training sessions in Functional Safety to share expert knowledge internally and externally

University degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, or a comparable qualification
Extensive experience in the automotive industry or in industries with comparable functional safety requirements such as industrial automation, aerospace, medical technology, defense, etc.
Professional experience with ISO 26262, ISO 21448 or comparable regulations like the IEC 61508 in the context of embedded systems development
Proven experience in the independent management of projects
Strong facilitation and communication skills for maintaining professional and long-term customer relationships
Profound basic knowledge of ASPICE processes and their impact on functional safety
Business fluent in German and English is mandatory
