Senior IT Operator (m/w/d)

System Administration: Manage and maintain Linux servers, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Perform regular system updates, patches, and configuration changes.

Infrastructure Management: Oversee the operation and maintenance of infrastructure applications, including web servers, databases, and cloud services. Ensure reliable and efficient operation of all infrastructure components.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement and manage monitoring tools to track system performance and health. Quickly diagnose and resolve any issues or outages, ensuring minimal downtime.

Security Management: Implement and maintain security best practices for Linux systems. Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and apply necessary mitigations.

Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans. Ensure regular backups are performed and validate recovery processes.

Automation: Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python). Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) scripts to manage resources efficiently.

1st Level Support: Internal support of employees in regards to software and hardware usage.

Training: Perform regular internal training for IT related topics, like the usage of internal software systems or compliance with IT policies.
