Founded in 1981, our client is a leading consumer electronics company with 25,000 employees in 78 countries. Present in Europe since 2007, currently in 11 European countries, including France, the UK, Italy, etc. They are looking for a Senior Key Account Manager who will contribute to develop and manage the business of the Company on the German market.
Key accountabilities:
Reporting to the German Country Manager, the KAM will be responsible to develop the sales of the Consumer Electronics products, including TV&Audio,Home Appliance,Small Appliance, in Germany. He/She will be based in our office in Munich.
This will include, but not be limited to:
- Having the primarily responsibility of managing current open account in CE market and seek and acquire new accounts achieving best possible market penetration and achieve on the business target.
- Establishing and strengthen the relationship with customers.
- Negotiating prices and commercial conditions with customers.
- Taking responsibility for the country forecast by product line for the assigned customers.
- Helping develop results-based trade marketing strategies and promotional opportunities (from idea to execution) in cooperating with local marketing team.
- Providing feedback on customers, competition changes, volume potential, price roadmap, etc. in order to refine sales and market strategy.
- Analysing market statistics, as to define the action plans in order to achieve the assigned targets.
- Helping maintain a complete prospect, competitor and customer database and provide information to management as needed or requested.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years in key accounts management and sales experience in similar role, with good experience in general industry consumer electronic (significant TV market experienced will be an advantage.).
- Have the mandatory network and knows how to approach the market and the potential clients.
- Be skilled in developing close working and personal relationships with customers.
- Be a self-starter who thrives on working independently to achieve ambitious new business targets while actively engaging as a team member, adhering to company guidelines.
- Be open to new business challenges and company initiatives.
- Have the breadth and versatility to function both at the strategic and tactical level.
- Demonstrated and effective skills in team working, time management, communication, presentation, interpersonal, organizational and negotiation skills.
- Previous Business Development experiences.
- Will be passionate, highly energetic in their work, self-driven under minimal supervision, motivated and hard working with a can-do attitude with a proactive approach.
