Senior Operations Controller (gn)

The Operations Controller (gn) plays a critical role in ensuring operational excellence across our dynamic, multi-category nutrition business, including powders, liquids, bars, and vitamins. The role partners with operations, supply chain, R&D, and commercial teams to link operational performance with financial outcomes. The mission is to provide actionable financial insights and lead the implementation of agile S&OP and performance management processes to drive productivity, inventory efficiency, and cost savings across the value chain.

Your mission

  You lead financial planning and performance tracking for supply chain and manufacturing operations

  
  


• 
  

  You provide financial input to S&OP processes to optimize demand, inventory, and supply

  
  


• 
  

  You develop tools linking operational KPIs (e.g., OEE, yield, waste) to financial outcomes

  
  


• 
  

  You enable D2C product launches through financial analysis and operational readiness assessments

  
  


• 
  

  You identify cost-saving opportunities in manufacturing and logistics and support investment decisions

  
  


• 
  

  You drive cross-functional alignment with teams like Brand, B2B, Procurement, Quality, and R&D

  
  


• 
  

  You lead scenario planning for supply chain risks and manage full P&L ownership

  
  


• 
  

  You oversee the full planning cycle (budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning) and implement predictive analytics

  
  

Your experience & skills 

• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications are a plus


• 
  

  You bring 10+ years of experience in Operations Controlling, Supply Chain Finance, or Manufacturing Finance

  
  


• 
  

  You have strong knowledge of manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain finance processes

  
  


• 
  

  You are experienced in forecasting, budgeting, capital investment evaluation, and eCommerce metrics

  
  


• 
  

  You possess advanced Excel skills and are proficient in ERP/BI tools like SAP and Power BI

  
  


• 
  

  You have worked in consumer goods, food, nutrition, or eCommerce-driven environments

  
  


• 
  

  You demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder management across teams

  
  


• 
  

  You are strategic, detail-oriented, proactive, and thrive in high-growth, dynamic settings

  You speak English and German on a fluent level

  
  

Location & Travel

  You work in a hybrid model with a strong preference for being in the Hamburg office 3 times per week
