Senior Product Manager, Automotive Data Management (m/f/d)

What you’ll do:

As a Senior Product Manager (m/f/d) you will own our vehicle taxonomy and knowledge layer in the Listing Intelligence team. Working together with engineers, data and content specialists, data providers and product teams, you will turn messy vehicle data into structured intelligence that helps buyers understand cars and helps AutoScout24 build better search, pricing, enrichment and AI-powered experiences. 

• Define and articulate the product strategy, roadmap and success criteria for our vehicle knowledge layer, including taxonomy, standardized attributes, enrichment and data-provider integrations


• Understand buyer information needs and internal team needs through data analysis, qualitative research and active stakeholder discovery


• Shape how external data sources and internal inventory signals map to AutoScout24's standardized vehicle taxonomy and knowledge graph, including equipment, option packs, trims, variants and specs


• Identify and prioritize the most impactful opportunities for better enrichment, price labels, price estimation inputs, filters, relevance and AI-powered retrieval experiences


• Make clear and pragmatic data-modeling decisions including normalization, denormalization, source-of-truth and data-quality tradeoffs


• Manage senior technical, commercial and supplier stakeholders, including major data-provider relationships and contracts


• Evangelize the vehicle knowledge layer internally and help other teams adopt it in buyer-facing and platform use cases 

What you’ll bring: 

• A track record (5+ years) of building products that users love by following modern product management best practices


• Experience (5+ years) leading cross-functional teams working on sophisticated data, platform or knowledge systems


• Strong data-modeling instincts, including relational models, taxonomy and ontology design and semantic layers


• Experience working with messy external data sources, data quality challenges and structured enrichment workflows


• Commercial maturity to manage high-value supplier relationships, data contracts and independent vendor negotiations


• Deep analytical, product discovery and data storytelling skills, with the ability to connect foundational platform work to concrete buyer and business outcomes


• AI and retrieval fluency: you understand how structured knowledge can improve LLM-powered search, generation and agent-style user experiences, while staying grounded in operational fundamentals
