Senior Product Manager, Data Engineering - (Customer, Logistics)

We are on the lookout for a Senior Product Manager, Data Engineering - (Logistics, Customer) to join our Product team and reinvent on-demand delivery with us. In this role, you will be leading our effort to maintain and extend the data engineering infrastructure for the Logistics vertical, helping us to deliver more efficiently across 70 countries so our customers will always have an amazing experience. You will be working with Logistics leadership, analytics teams, engineering teams and data scientists and manage our batch and real-time data import processes that serve as the foundational platform for all data-related activities across one of the biggest verticals in Delivery Hero. To give you an idea of the scale you’ll be working with: we currently import 10TB per day into our DWH and process around 200 Million messages per day in Kafka. In this role, we are expecting you to deliver innovative solutions for our data platform that help ensure a great ordering experience for customers while maintaining an efficient Logistics fleet.  

• Join us and work on one of the foundational topics at Delivery Hero: on-demand last-mile delivery Logistics
• Define and own the vision, strategy and roadmap for data engineering products, which covers batch imports and a quickly evolving set of real-time data products
• Find and define new opportunities of how the data platform can be utilized in different squads and functions across Logistics to build impactful new features for the business
• Engage with central service providers to communicate requirements and align development roadmaps
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across DH that are involved with data products and act as a thought leader and subject matter expert across the company
• Join our large and growing global product community and act as a product champion and mentor

In our Logistics Team, you’ll tackle high-impact challenges that make last-mile delivery efficient, affordable, and sustainable. Your work will directly improve experiences for riders, end customers, and merchants across the globe. Each enhancement you contribute will help Delivery Hero optimize delivery operations, supporting expansion into new areas like grocery and retail.

• 7+ years of relevant experience as a product manager working on data-related products with business impact. Experience with BigQuery, Debezium and Kafka is a plus.
• Previously owned product strategy, roadmap and execution of a data-related team coupled with experience in managing senior stakeholders
• Proven ability to work across multiple teams within a complex organization, driving alignment and collaboration toward shared objectives
• You possess a strong sense of ownership and you excel at identifying meaningful patterns and transforming complexity into clear, actionable plans
• Exceptional communication skills; be able to properly communicate at tactical, strategic and vision levels
