Then our open position as (Senior) Purchasing Systems & Process Manager might be the perfect next step in your personal development journey! We are looking for an experienced process designer who is motivated to leverage its skills at the crossroads of automotive and high-tech procurement settings. The HOLON Purchasing Team strives to establish a reliable and resilient partnership ecosystem to complement our company's product development activities with the best possible solutions on the market in the fields of hardware, software, and development services. For that matter, we are looking for a well-structured and efficiency-minded new colleague to create a lean and competitive process & systems landscape for our strategic purchasing agenda. In this role you will significantly contribute to the infrastructure of a modern automotive procurement organization.

The respective scope of responsibility is as follows:

Mapping and improving HOLON’s company processes & systems in the fields of hardware & software development, sourcing, supplier readiness & industrialization, supplier capacity & risk management, ordering, purchasing performance management etc.
Developing a lean and optimized process & systems landscape for the purchasing division which is seamlessly integrated with other internal stakeholder’s processes (R&D, Quality, Production, Logistics, Finance etc.)
Creating (AI-based) systems solutions which relieve strategic buyers from low-value-adding tasks (e.g. manual order processing or purchasing data analysis)
Ensuring that compliance with legal, regulatory, sustainability and company policy requirements is intuitively integrated into purchasing processes & systems
Researching latest trends & developments around automotive purchasing methods & processes to derive a continuous training agenda for the purchasing team

Your profile

Completed (Master-) studies in one of the fields of Business Administration, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or comparable.
Several years of professional experience in process consulting & system landscape design, preferably in the automotive and/or high-tech electronics industry
Solid understanding of strategic & operational (automotive) purchasing activities and corresponding process & efficiency requirements
Service-oriented personality which understands process and system optimization as a tool for enabling strategic buyers to become more efficient and able to focus on high-value-adding core tasks
Curiosity about new (AI driven) business technologies and to implement them in an automotive purchasing setting
Openness to independently learn about new (automotive) purchasing methods/solutions and to coach the team with relevant findings
Strong intercultural skills and availability for international and national business trips
Fluency in English language, further language skills are a plus

The HOLON urban is a fully electric and autonomous vehicle for use on public roads. It is one of the world's first movers to meet automotive standards – leading the way in safety, ride comfort and production quality. The vehicle operates at a top speed of 60 kilometers / 37 miles per hour and can accommodate up to 15 passengers.

The HOLON urban is barrier-free and offers an automated ramp, a secured wheelchair space and auditory and visual support for passengers. In addition to conventional scheduled services, the mover is to be used as an on-demand means of transport in order to meet the mobility needs of users.
