Role Summary
 

Our Senior Sales and Client Service Associate partners with Sales professionals to develop new and grow existing relationships across Germany, Austria and other selected European markets, with a primary focus on promoting the Avantis UCITS ETF range. You’ll support a consultative sales approach combining financial insight, product knowledge and disciplined pipeline management to drive regional growth through proactive outreach and high-quality service.

Avantis Investors, part of American Century Investments, is focused on helping clients achieve their investment goals through the delivery of broadly diversified, low cost, efficient investment strategies. All investment strategies are managed under a consistent investment philosophy based on financial science and use information in market prices and company financials to identify differences in expected returns among securities.

How You Will Make an Impact
 

  • Build strong partnerships with Sales professionals through regular collaboration on regional strategy, client engagement and product positioning, supported by weekly agendas and day‑to‑day communication.
  • Support targeted plans across different distribution channels, adapting content and outreach cadence to each channel.
  • Discover, progress and forecast opportunities by logging all interactions in Salesforce, maintaining data quality, moving stages promptly and escalating blockers as needed.
  • Conduct proactive outbound calls/emails; prepare tailored materials that clearly articulate competitive positioning and client outcomes.
  • Use fund analytics and portfolio tools to demonstrate product benefits; maintain a current understanding of American Century’s investment practices, products and services, and relevant market trends.
  • Support conferences/events and select in‑person meetings with key clients as agreed with the manager and Consultant partners.
  • Support existing and new client relationships where required.

What You Bring to the Team (Required)
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–3 years’ experience in an internal sales or sales support role within asset management/ETF distribution.
  • Solid knowledge of ETF structure and the German distribution landscape.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; clear written and verbal communication.
  • Advanced proficiency in Salesforce (pipelines, reports, call notes); working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Morningstar Direct and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Regulatory awareness: Working knowledge of BaFin, Bundesbank and broader EU requirements.
  • Regular attendance in the Frankfurt office on the agreed schedule is essential to fulfil role expectations.
  • Speak fluent German and English.
