Senior Sales Engineer Cybersecurity

Location – Remote within Germany

Travel – Up to around 50% within Germany (Occasionally Switzerland)

Our client is a Gartner and Forrester recognised leader in the cyber security space who is looking for an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to support their award winning Enterprise sales team in the DACH region. The company is going through a period of growth and needs to increase the capacity of their Sales engineering team to match demand.

The Sales Engineer (SE) will work alongside the Regional Sales Managers and Channel Managers as part of the Global Sales Team and oversee the sales support of the company’s Web Application and Database Security/Compliance products to existing and prospective customers with the assigned geographic region.

What we are looking for:

• 7+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: network security, web application development, data architect, database administration, or related security solutions
• Previous experience in a sales engineering role
• Experience working with Partners
• Foundational knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, Load balancers, proxies, and firewalls
• Exposure to sales methodologies such as MEDDICC would be advantageous
