Arbeitsbeschreibung - Senior Software Engineer

As Senior Software Engineer you will be involved in developing the operation system of a quantum computer. In close collaboration with the hardware team, you will design and develop the control, monitoring, and analysis software that can be deployed to multiple quantum computers.

Key responsibilities:

Develop and code new features and tests to enhance projects
Share knowledge and collaborate effectively within the team
Automate testing in CI/CD pipelines
Document software consistently during development
Continuously learn about new technologies and the workings of quantum computers

Necessary requirements:

5+ years of experience in professional software engineering
Highly motivated
Experience working with Python, Rust, C or C++
Experience working with database management
Experience working with a CI/CD pipeline
Eager to learn new technologies
Identify as a team player
Interest in physics
Have a valid work permit in Germany or the EU & are preferably based in Munich or open to relocation
Fluent in English

Supplementary skills:

Experience with Docker
Experience with embedded programming (C, C++)
Experience with FPGA programming (VHDL/Verilog)
Worked in an agile setting (Scrum)
