Senior Vendor Management (m/f/d)

As Senior Vendor Management - Partner Excellence (m/f/d), you'll be the strategic backbone of our external partnerships within the Customer Service department. You'll take ownership of the full vendor lifecycle, from sourcing and contracting to quality assurance and cost governance, ensuring that our service providers don't just meet the bar, but consistently raise it. As the trusted bridge between SIXT and its external partners, you'll turn supplier relationships into long-term competitive advantages that directly fuel customer satisfaction and business success.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You search for and select service providers, ensuring their performance and reliability and taking appropriate action in case of problems
• You create and review contracts with suppliers, ensuring that all offers and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are in line with the needs and expectations of the company and its customers
• You ensure that suppliers and service providers provide high-quality services consistent with the requirements of the company and its customers
• You manage costs to achieve good value for money while ensuring they remain in line with the company's budget. This includes the process of invoice creation and approval, which must be seamless and error-free. Check mechanisms must not only be present but must also be effectively implemented. In addition, every step in the process must be traceable and documented
• You build and maintain a good relationship with suppliers and service providers to ensure a long-term, successful partnership

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Education and Experience You hold a university degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field, and bring 5+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or supplier relations
• BPO & Industry Know-How You have hands-on experience working with or within BPO providers, giving you a sharp understanding of how external service operations tick and what it takes to manage them effectively from the inside out
• Strategic & Commercial Mindset You think in partnerships, not just contracts, balancing long-term relationship value with sharp commercial awareness to negotiate SLAs, manage costs, and drive supplier performance without losing sight of the bigger picture
• Stakeholder & Communication Management You are a confident communicator who thrives at the intersection of multiple teams. You collaborate closely with internal CS hubs, Legal, and Procurement, aligning diverse stakeholders around shared goals. You communicate with clarity and impact in meetings, reports, and phone conversations, building rapport and resolving issues verbally day in, day out
• Analytical Thinking & Financial Acumen You have a strong grasp of numbers and are comfortable owning cost management processes end-to-end, including budget oversight, invoice approval workflows, and ensuring full traceability at every step. You question results critically and trust your analytical instincts to validate conclusions before acting on them
• Technical Skills & Process Orientation You are proficient in Excel and confident across the MS Office suite, using these tools to track performance, model scenarios, and keep supplier data organized
• Willingness to Travel You are open to occasional business travel, whether visiting supplier sites, joining cross-location team meetings, or strengthening partnerships on the ground
• Languages You are fluent in English; German is a strong plus
