Senior/Staff Product UX Designer (d/m/f)

• Location: Munich, Germany

• Employment Type: Full-Time, indefinite term

• Salary Range: € 100k - 120k per year gross depending on the seniority level

• Working Mode: Hybrid work setup (office first set-up with possibility to work from home a couple days)

• Language Requirement: C1 Level English

As Senior/Staff Product UX Designer you own how our clients and operators experience Entrix, from the end-to-end client journey to the detail of individual pages. You sit in Product and work closely with Marketing and Tech to turn our journey ideas into a tangible, shipped experience.

• Drive Entrix's product experience vision together with product leads, turning our product into a coherent long-term experience that sets us apart from competitors.

• Map the end-to-end Entrix client journey, from first touchpoint to onboarding, daily use and expansion, and turn our existing journey ideas into a tangible client experience.

• Drive the journey into execution: break it into concrete initiatives with Product, Marketing and Tech, prioritise them and follow them through rollout and adoption.

• Connect internal and external use cases (operators, asset owners, our own teams) into one coherent product experience.

• Frame problems from the user's perspective before solutions are discussed, and challenge assumptions with evidence.

• Run qualitative and quantitative research with customers, operators and internal users, and turn insights into product decisions.

• Define the structure and user flows of the Entrix app, down to the detail of individual pages, including where a specific button sits.

• Prototype quickly, from simple flows to high-fidelity prototypes, using AI-assisted tools where they speed things up.

• Build and maintain the product design system and design principles on top of the existing Entrix brand, so teams ship a consistent UI.

• Visualise complex data and concepts so that customers and colleagues understand them at a glance.

You are a product and UX generalist with at least 7 years of experience, who can think strategy and also drive execution hands-on. You look for an individual contributor role with broad influence across the organization.

Mandatory Requirements

• 7+ years in product experience, UX, product design or UX product management, with a track record of shipping complex B2B products, ideally data-heavy platforms, operational tools or expert-facing applications.

• Proven experience structuring complex user journeys and turning them into shipped experiences across several teams.

• Strong product thinking: you start from the user problem and the business impact, and make trade-offs between quality, speed and learning.

• Strong UX and interaction design skills, from the overall flow to the detail of a single page. You can explain your choices.

• Systems thinking: you can structure multi-layered flows with roles, permissions, states and live data.

• Research mindset: you have run user research and usability tests and you make data-informed decisions.

• Experience working within an existing brand and design framework, and extending it into a product design system.

• Technical fluency: you work confidently with engineers on constraints, APIs and data models.

• You make the complex clear, in writing and in person, and communicate with confidence in front of leadership. Fluent English is required.

• A builder mindset: you are decisive and proactive, raise problems early and resolve dependencies instead of waiting for them.

• AI tools are a natural part of your workflow, for example in prototyping, research synthesis or exploration.

Skills to Set You Apart

• Experience building or maturing product design in a scaling company.

• A background in energy, trading, fintech or other domains where users make high-stakes decisions on real-time data.

• Experience designing monitoring, alerting or control-room-style tools.

• German language skills.

• You share your ideas publicly through writing or talks.

This role may not be a fit for you if…

• You want to lead a brand vision or build a new visual identity. Brand ownership sits with Marketing; here you translate it into the product.

• You prefer to focus on visual polish alone. The role starts with user problems, journeys and product thinking, and design craft supports them.

• You are looking for people leadership. This is an individual contributor role.

• You prefer a narrow specialist lane. As the only person in this role, you cover everything from the client journey to the placement of a single button.

At Entrix, we are committed to diversity - of all backgrounds and experiences. You don’t need 100% of the preferred qualifications to add incredible value to our team. If you’re passionate about what you could accomplish here, we’d love to hear from you.

• Competitive Compensation Package: Including salary, benefits and virtual share options

• Professional Development: Annual development budget of 3,000 € for coachings, trainings, books, etc.

• Health & Sport Subsidy: Company subsidised sports facilities membership

• Public Transportation Subsidy: Monthly subsidy to your public transport ticket

• Lunch/Dinner Allowance Vouchers: Allowance for meals on working days as digital meal vouchers

• Work Equipment: MacBook or Windows Laptop and ergonomic workplace

• Regular Team Events: Knowledge Sessions, Afterwork, Sports, Offsites etc.
