Job Description:

Silicon Photonics Specialist Field - Service Engineer (m/f/d) /

who performs installations, troubleshooting and repairs at our customers' sites.

In our company, your core responsibilities include:

• Supporting our Silicon Photonics Wafer Probe System product
• Installation & commissioning of probers and accessories, including final acceptance according to test and acceptance regulations
• Independent execution of preventive & corrective maintenance at the customer's site in the service area EMEA
• Preparation of commissioning protocols and acceptance reports
• Technical training and instruction of customers
• Troubleshooting and repair of our probers both as remote / telephone support and at the customer's site
• Timely processing and documentation of work orders and service calls according to FormFactor guidelines
• Actively collaborate with other FormFactor departments to ensure continuous improvement of products
• Regular participation in qualification measures
• Adherence to all health and safety requirements both internally and during customer service calls

What you should bring with you:

• Engineer or technician in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology or similar
• At least 2-4 years of experience in a similar field of activity is typically required, ideally in Silicon Photonics and/or semiconductor test
• Detail-oriented work and strong problem-solving skills
• Accuracy, punctuality, good team and interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills in German and English both verbally and in writing
• Good knowledge of common MS Office applications
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel required
