Your tasks

Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of the simulation environment
Implement, maintain, and optimize interfaces between autonomous driving systems (ADS), simulation environment, and additional required models
Validate simulation models and environments, e.g., vehicle dynamics and sensor models
Develop scenario test catalogues based on behavioral requirements and target operational domains
Prepare and execute test runs within the simulation environment
Analyze and interpret the simulation results to derive requirements and to improve the capabilities of the autonomous system in terms of performance and safety
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to communicate findings and inform relevant stakeholders

Your profile

Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Initial professional experience or relevant internships in simulation and software development
Practical experience with simulation environments such as ASM, CarMaker, or CARLA
Skilled in programming languages such as C++ and Python
Experience in various data formats such as XML, JSON, YAML etc.
Experience in ASAM OpenDrive and OpenScenario
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly
Excellent command of both written and spoken English; proficiency in German is highly desirable
