We're seeking a Software Development Engineer to join our new Europe-based Ads Product team. In these roles, you'll contribute to both frontend and backend development for our advertising platform, working on exciting new product opportunities while collaborating with teams across Rome2Rio and Omio. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills across multiple technologies while making a meaningful impact on our global platform.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software components for our advertising platform
• Work with both frontend and backend technologies, with an emphasis on either area based on your strengths
• Implement and maintain integrations with third-party advertising platforms
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders across our global teams in Europe, Melbourne, and Berlin
• Participate in code reviews and agile development processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production systems

• 2+ years of software development experience
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., C#, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, Python)
• Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and approaches
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a remote team environment
