Key Tasks and Responsibilities

you will have the following responsibilities:

• Automation of configurations of devices, operating systems and application programs;
• Automation of updates without internet access for devices, operating systems, and application programs;
• Automation of the installation of application programs and/or extensions;
• Creation of automated tests with automated logging of results;
• Support for system and acceptance tests.

Skills & Experience

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

 

• Vocational training as an IT specialist or IT systems electronics technician;
• Bachelor in computer science;
• Scripting and programming languages (PowerShell, Bash) Operating systems (server, client), Linux);
• Windows Python (Expert knowledge);
• Driver licence Class b3;
• Configuration of networks and Network Time Protocol (NTP) IT security (firewall) Directory services (Active Directory, LDAP) Support for system and acceptance tests with customers;
• Experience in specification, design, implementation, integration, testing, and acceptance of complex systems is desirable;
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) and configuration of Jenkins build jobs is desirable;
• Knowledge of UI and user interface programming and the use of test automation tools such as Ranorex is desirable.
• Ability to work in a team independently and diligently.
• Willingness to travel for on-site assignments;
• Knowledge, handling, and configuration of radio devices (HF, VHF, UHF), mobile phones/cellular networks (TETRA), GPS, and satellite phones is desirable;
• Fluency in English and German is mandatory.
