Strategic Sourcing and RFP Process Execution

• Partner with spend portfolio owners to develop and execute strategies for renewals, maintenance programs, and sourcing initiatives.
• Lead end-to-end RFP processes for low-to-moderate complexity projects, including market research, RFP development, stakeholder management, and vendor communications.
• Conduct thorough market and vendor research, and present findings in concise, well-organized research summaries.
• Develop sourcing project timelines and facilitate regular meetings to ensure project alignment and progress.

Contract Negotiation and Management

• Analyze existing contracts and spend data to identify sourcing and cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Legal and contract owners, to review and address concerns in supplier agreements.
• Provide strategic input and negotiation support to help secure favorable contract terms that align with business needs.

• Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience, including 2–4 years in procurement or sourcing with direct responsibility for contract negotiation.

• Experience across multiple sourcing categories is strongly preferred.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly gather data, conduct root cause analysis, and draw actionable conclusions.

• Advanced negotiation skills, with the ability to influence leadership on sourcing strategies and business case justifications.

• Solid project and task management skills; knowledge of business requirements and project management methodologies.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
