Arbeitsbeschreibung - Specialist Finanzbuchhaltung (m*w*d)

To support our finance department in Rosbach v.d.H., we are looking for a full-time financial accounting specialist (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.
  • You are responsible for processing and correct posting (cost elements and centres, project numbers), incoming invoices, maintaining vendor master data and checking tax requirements
  • You create the monthly advance VAT return and other statistical reports (e.g. ZM and Z4)
  • You take over account reconciliations in the intercompany area and preparatory closing entries in the balance sheet and profit and loss statement
  • You create internal cost transfers within the group on a monthly basis
  • You support the team with bank postings and the correct settlement of travel and other expenses
  • You are also involved in digitalisation projects for the further development, optimisation and implementation of systems and processes
  • You will be the main point of contact for the cost centre controlling (invoices), purchasing and warehouse (reconciliation of purchase requisitions and posted goods/service receipts, as well as processing of purchase requisitions)
  • You will be actively involved in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • You have completed business training or a degree in finance/accounting, ideally with a qualification as an accountant (further training opportunities are employer-funded)
  • You already have some experience in finance/accounting
  • You have sound application knowledge of the MS Office modules, in particular MS Excel and SAP (FI, MM, AA, MM).
  • You are a reliable team player with an independent, solution-oriented and analytical way of thinking and working
  • You are fluent in written and spoken German and have a good knowledge of English
