Corporates need startups, but finding the right ones at scale? That’s tough. That’s where you come in.
We’re looking for a Startup Data & Insights Engineer to develop data-driven solutions that power startup scouting and recommendations. Your work will enable innovation teams to identify game-changing startups and engage with business units (BUs) effectively.What You’ll Do

Build scalable data pipelines – Collect, clean, and process startup data from APIs, databases, and web scraping.
Automate startup scouting – Develop systems that track and rank startups based on funding, partnerships, and traction.
Create powerful insights – Engineer tools that analyze startup ecosystems, market trends, and emerging tech.
Integrate data sources – Ensure seamless ETL processes with external and internal databases.
Implement AI & ML – Use AI models to classify, rank, and recommend startups to our corporate partners.
Make data actionable – Work with engineering and service teams to turn insights into strategic decisions.
Visualize impact – Build dashboards, reports, and UI tools that make insights clear and actionable.

What You Bring

3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or startup research.
Tech stack: JavaScript, SQL, Elasticsearch, LLMs, recommendation systems, APIs, NodeJS, Scraping, RAG, ElasticSearch
Automation mindset: You don’t do things twice—you build systems that scale.
Startup ecosystem knowledge: You understand the dynamics of funding, growth, and innovation.
AI/ML expertise (a plus): Experience with AI-driven analytics or ranking models.
Strong communication skills: You turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Proactive problem-solver: You see challenges as opportunities and take ownership.
Berlin-based or willing to spend significant time with the team in Berlin.
