 Job
Responsibilities:

·        Independently assemble large
welded steel structures based on technical drawings, bills of
materials (BOMs) and work plans.

·        Work with heavy assemblies
ranging from approximately 100 kg up to 50 tonnes.

·        Work with steel materials
having thicknesses of approximately 6–150 mm.

·        Align, fit and tack-weld
components accurately.

·        Straighten steel constructions
and check shape, position and dimensional accuracy.

·        Safely handle and position
heavy components during assembly.

·        Carry out final welding where
required.

·        Perform leak-tight welding and leak
testing of oil pans or tanks when required.

• Follow workplace safety standards, technical
  specifications and quality requirements
  

Requirements

·        Relevant vocational
qualification or professional experience in steel fabrication,
structural steelwork, construction mechanics or a related trade.

·        Strong ability to read and
understand technical drawings, BOMs and work plans.

·        Practical experience in
fitting, aligning and assembling large steel structures.

·        Experience working with heavy
steel components.

·        Good understanding of
dimensional accuracy, alignment and quality requirements.

·        Ability to safely handle heavy
components and work in a heavy industrial environment.

·        B2 German language
skills required.

⚠️ Important

This is NOT a pure Welder position.

The role focuses primarily on steel fabrication,
fitting, alignment and independent assembly of large welded structures.
Welding is an additional part of the job and may include final welding,
leak-tight welding and leak testing.
