Als Teil der Eavor GmbH in Düsseldorf arbeiten Sie eng mit einem internationalen, multidisziplinären Team zusammen, verantworten sämtliche Rechtsthemen unseres schnell wachsenden Technologie-Start-ups und berichten direkt an die Geschäftsführung. Sie gestalten den Rechtsbereich strategisch und operativ – national wie international – und leisten damit einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur erfolgreichen Umsetzung unserer Geothermie-Projektpipeline in Europa.

Aufgaben

• Umfassende rechtliche Beratung der Geschäftsleitung in strategischen und operativen Fragestellungen
• Aufbau und Weiterentwicklung eines Vertrags- und Claim-Management-Systems samt international gültiger Standards und Workflows
• Rechtliche Begleitung von Unternehmens­gründungen, M&A-Transaktionen und Projektfinanzierungen im In- und Ausland
• Prüfung, Erstellung und Verhandlung von Verträgen (EPC, Liefer- und Dienstleistungsverträge, Kooperations- und Finanzierungs­verträge)
• Konfliktlösung und Streitbeilegung – bevorzugt außergerichtlich – inklusive Steuerung externer Kanzleien
• Sicherstellung der Compliance mit allen relevanten Gesetzen, Regularien und Corporate-Governance-Vorgaben
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit den internationalen Eavor-Einheiten und regelmäßiges Reporting an die globale Muttergesellschaft

Qualifikationen

• Volljurist (m/w/d)
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in einer vergleichbaren Position – idealerweise im Anlagen-/Bau-, Energie- oder Projektgeschäft
• Tiefgehende Kenntnisse im Vertrags- und Gesellschaftsrecht; Erfahrung im Bau-, Vergabe- oder Patentrecht von Vorteil
• Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
• Ausgeprägtes strategisches und unternehmerisches Denken, Hands-on-Mentalität und überzeugendes Auftreten
• Starkes Verhandlungs- und Durchsetzungsvermögen sowie Freude am Auf- und Ausbau effizienter Strukturen
• Fundierte Kenntnisse im Energierecht sowie Erfahrung mit Wärmeabnahmeverträgen sind erforderlich

Head of Legal (m/w/d) – Germany

Eavor Technologies Inc. is seeking a dynamic, hands-on Head of Legal to lead all legal matters for Eavor GmbH in Düsseldorf. Reporting directly to senior management and working within a multidisciplinary international team, you will shape our legal function at both strategic and operational levels, supporting our fast-growing pipeline of geothermal projects across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal counsel to executive management on strategic and operational matters
• Develop and implement an international contract and claim-management system with standard workflows
• Advise on corporate formations, M&A transactions, and project financings (domestic and international)
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (EPC, supply, service, cooperation, and financing agreements)
• Manage and resolve disputes, prioritizing out-of-court settlements and coordinating external counsel
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and corporate-governance requirements
• Collaborate closely with global Eavor entities and report regularly to the parent company

Qualifications

• Fully qualified lawyer
• Several years of relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within plant construction, energy, or project-driven industries
• Expert knowledge of contract and corporate law; familiarity with construction, procurement, or IP law is a plus
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on approach, and persuasive communication skills
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder-management abilities; proven record of building efficient legal structures
• Knowledge of energy law and experience with heat offtake agreements is required
