System Management Engineer (m/f/d) Monitoring

Your Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth operation of all critical and largely externally hosted systems throughout the organization
• Responsible for the set-up, further development and maintenance of the monitoring systems
• Monitor the externally and corporate operated systems and services, ensuring availability and optimal operations
• Work with the local and global teams, close collaboration with R&D developers
• Design and implementation of new concepts and solutions for the optimized and efficient operation of the systems, Infrastructure as a Code
• Participation in on-call duty (max. 1 week per month)

What you bring

• Completed studies in the area of IT, Computer Science or relevant experience in the field of IT
• Knowledge of various monitoring (e.g. Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana) and log management (Elasticsearch)
• Network, Windows and Linux knowledge is required
• Basic programming skills in various scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell and Bash
• Automation skills in various platforms such as SaltStack or Ansible is required. We are using SaltStack in most of our platforms
• Enthusiasm for new, innovative and technical subjects along with an understanding of customer and market requirements, trends and developments in the IT industry
• Fluency in English is mandatory, German is a plus
