TAKKTalent: Master Data Management | Category Management & Procurement

Team Purpose: 

We are responsible for the master data maintenance in MS AX (ERP-System) and PIM (STEP, Content Serve, Inriver). Being the owners of article & supplier creation / adjustments within MS AX and PIM we ensure high data quality for our customer / supplier. Our communication methode is mainly through requests via SNOW ticket system in English language, as team members are situated in Germany: Stuttgart, Pliening and in Sweden: Markaryd.

Tasks:

Daily business tasks in ERP/PIM such as:
- creating new articles and suppliers
- article and supplier data add/change/adjust
- article and supplier status change
- delivery delays or temporary article block maintenance
- add or change purchase prices
- ensuring optimal data quality
- project support

You will learn:

- Understanding of data maintenance principles, including data quality, consistency, and lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with MDM tools and systems, learning how to maintain and enrich key business data sets.
- Collaboration across departments, gaining insight into how different teams rely on accurate and standardized data.
- Attention to detail and structured work methods, essential for managing large and complex data records.

Your Profile:

- Basic IT knowledge: Familiarity with current Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint ets) and ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics AX is a strong plus.
- Analytical thinking: Ability to spot inconsistencies in data and understand data structures and workflows.
- Attention to detail: Precision is key when managing and maintaining accurate master data.
- English proficiency: Solid reading and writing skills are important.
- Willingness to learn: MDM tools and processes evolve, so curiosity and adaptability are essential.
- Teamwork and communication: Collaborating with departments like purchasing, sales, and IT is part of the daily routine.
