We are looking for a new colleague to join our Finance/Accounting Team in Berlin full-time/40 hours a week starting as soon as possible.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

Advise accounting team on tax matters e.g. reverse charge
Manage tax audits
Implement tax compliance environment
Evaluation of tax saving opportunities with management & tax advisors
Support the implementation and documentation of TP regulations
Prepare monthly VAT returns
Supporting projects e.g. M&A
Improving systems & tax processes
Main contact for tax advisors

Successfully completed studies in the field of taxation/finance
3-5 years of experience in the tax environment after studying, preferably in a tax agency
Experience with common ERP systems
Good knowledge of German tax regulations
Experience with German tax groups and transfer pricing
Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working and ability to work in a team
Resilient and able to manage multiple stakeholders
Strong project management skills and the ability to take initiative, set priorities and manage multiple concurrent work streams
Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely
Willingness for continuous improvement and the ability to identify and implement process improvements
Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on attitude
Excellent knowledge of German language and fluent English
