Team Lead Product - Financial Services (f/m/d)

Overview:

As a Team Lead Product Management at Aleph Alpha, you will be responsible for guiding the vision, strategy and execution of our Financial Services Vertical. This role is at the intersection of GenAI innovation, legal expertise and strategic product leadership. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams—including engineering, design, partners and customer teams—to deliver cutting-edge tools that support regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate combines deep legaltech domain knowledge, hands-on GenAI product development experience and a strong drive to solve real-world user problems.

Your responsibilities:

• Product Vision & Strategy: Define the product vision and roadmap for a scalable compliance suite, with a strong focus on user and buyer needs. Develop long-term product strategies that align with business goals and regulatory developments (e.g. DORA regulation).

• Market Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape and emerging trends in Generative AI. Use insights to drive product development and positioning.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design and marketing teams to ensure that product development aligns with customer expectations and business objectives. Facilitate effective communication and cooperation among stakeholders.

• Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation through launch, ensuring timely delivery and continuous improvement based on user feedback and market changes.

• User Engagement: Engage with customers and industry stakeholders to gather insights, validate concepts, and ensure products meet user needs. Foster strong relationships to enhance user satisfaction and loyalty.

• Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, user satisfaction, and market impact. Analyze data to guide ongoing product enhancements and decision-making.

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor and inspire a team of product managers and design professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.

Your profile:

• Empathetic, action-oriented leader with a positive mindset and strong context-switching skills.

• Proven experience in product management, including hands-on development of GenAI-powered solutions (e.g., LLMs, RAG, custom models).

• Deep understanding of the legal sector, with several years of experience in a legal tech company or a highly regulated environment.

• Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing long-term product visions.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of making technical concepts accessible and actionable for non-technical audiences.

• Fluent in both German and English.

• Successful track record of launching B2B products, preferably within complex and regulated industries.

• Experience leading other product managers.
