Our client, an innovative deep-tech company in the German quantum computing industry, is looking for a Team Lead Quantum Systems (m/f/d). In this role, you will lead a team of physicists and engineers developing and optimizing advanced quantum computing systems, combining experimental research with technical leadership.
You will drive the development and optimization of quantum hardware, bringing together experimental physics, engineering, and interdisciplinary collaboration to advance next-generation quantum computing systems.
Examples:
Team Leadership: Leading and supporting a team of physicists and engineers working on quantum technologies
Quantum Hardware Development: Driving the development, integration, and improvement of quantum hardware and experimental setups
Experimental Research: Overseeing experiments, evaluating results, and translating scientific insights into technical improvements
System Performance: Identifying technical challenges and improving the stability, reliability, and performance of quantum systems
We are looking for a hands-on technical leader with a strong background in experimental physics who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges and advancing quantum technologies.
Experience in experimental quantum physics, quantum computing hardware, or closely related technologies
Hands-on experience with experimental hardware, system integration, characterization, or performance optimization
Experience in technical project leadership, mentoring, or interdisciplinary collaboration, combined with strong English communication skills

Take ownership and actively shape the development of next-generation quantum computing hardware
