Teamlead BI System & Solutions (m/f/d)

We are looking for an experienced Teamlead BI System & Solutions (m/f/d) who will architect our end-to-end data-based Infrastructure and Cloud Architecture. You will continue to act as Product Owner and with your data strategy you will significantly support our decision-making and contribute to the success of the company. Further development into a management position is possible.

• Own the BI infrastructure: 
  • Introduce and scale the group-wide BI platform based on Cloud Architecture (Azure).
  • Ensure technical implementation in alignment with Sanoptis Group requirements.
• Develop and maintain BI Dashboards: 
  • Implement a Self-Service Analytics Platform.
  • Design and leverage interactive and insightful dashboards to stakeholders with data modeling expertise.
  • Translate business needs into a scalable and valuable data product across multiple domains.
• Develop and implement a data strategy:
  • Build data pipelines, structures and processes to identify and evaluate business-relevant use cases.
  • Act as a champion in data ownership.
  • Promote time-to-market optimized data-driven decision-making, in close collaboration with the business.
• Manage stakeholders: Actively communicate with the Head of IT & Cybersecurity, management and other decision makers to drive the company's global data strategy, standards, and policies,
   cultivating a data-driven culture. 
• Use of artificial intelligence (AI): Develop and implement demand-driven AI models to improve efficiency, quality and revenue potential.
• Ensure governance and compliance:
  • Work with our Data Protection Officer to ensure compliance with data protection policies and regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR). 
  • Establish transparency on processing, use and highest quality of data.

• A degree in (business) informatics, mathematics, physics or a comparable subject.
• Experience in setting up and scaling BI architectures and infrastructures, especially in the Azure cloud environment, as well as in using Power BI for analysis, visualization and reporting.
• Several years of professional experience in the areas of Business Intelligence, Data Engineering or Data Science with sound knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data integration.
• Sound knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar) and SQL for data analysis.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable way. 
• Full proficiency in German (C2) and advanced level in English (C1).
• High level of problem-solving skills with a strong focus on data-driven process optimization and results improvement. Ideally complemented by modern monetization approaches of data-centric business models.
• Creativity and an entrepreneurial spirit especially in identifying and implementing new data use cases that take our business to the next level. 
• Experience with programming languages such as Python.
• First leadership or mentoring experience.
