Teamlead Marketing & Brand (m/f/d)

As Teamlead Marketing & Brand, you are responsible for our brand presence as a gaming & esports agency on various channels (e.g. BLRK website & LinkedIn) and are also involved in our client projects with your team. As an expert in content management, content creation & community management in gaming & esports, you and your team implement our customer projects and campaigns. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

• Leading your team: Together with your team, you will be responsible for the creative development, implementation and management of content activities in various customer projects and the implementation of all brand & communication initiatives for our BUILD A ROCKET brand. You will also ensure the mentoring and development of younger team members to promote a culture of continuous learning and growth
• Corporate Communications & Public Relations: In collaboration with our Marketing Manager, you will manage strategic corporate communications internally and externally, utilizing common PR tools to optimally position our projects and brand. You will also take care of our internal company wiki.
• Corporate Brand & Identity: Together with our Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for our Corporate Brand Manual and ensure that it is continuously developed, understood and practiced
• Project monitoring: You keep track of all department-relevant internal and external projects and work with your team to implement them in a goal-oriented and strategic manner
• Interdisciplinary collaboration: You conduct proficient cross-functional work between different company departments, e.g. Design, Commercial, to ensure brand consistency and quality

TO SUCCEED YOU NEED

• Completed studies with a marketing focus or comparable qualification and at least 3-5 years of professional experience in the field of content & brand on the corporate and/or agency side
• Very good industry expertise in the gaming & esports sector
• Very good knowledge of corporate communications and branding
• Good knowledge of common social media tools for setting up social media campaigns, monitoring and reporting
• Leadership skills (previous management experience is an advantage), organization, proactivity and structuring are part of your strengths
• Your strong communication and presentation skills (in German & English) complement your profile

• Your home base is in Cologne or the surrounding area so that you can be in our office in Cologne-Ehrenfeld regularly  
• You have the necessary pragmatism to combine the multifaceted roles of brand, marketing and corporate communications

The company was founded in 2016 by Alexander Albrecht and Tobias Heim. Our team operates from an office in the heart of Cologne's Ehrenfeld district. We have been part of the Sportfive family since 2021.
