Arbeitsbeschreibung - Teamleitung (m/w/d) Isotope Chemistry

Planung, Koordination und Durchführung von Radiosyntheseprojekten (¹⁴C, ³H) in einem CRO-Umfeld
Leitung und fachliche Weiterentwicklung des Radiosynthese-Teams
Sicherstellung einer qualitativ hochwertigen, termingerechten und kundenorientierten Projektbearbeitung
Koordination der Arbeit zur Sicherstellung eines optimalen Ressourceneinsatzes und Erreichung der finanziellen Ziele
Weiterentwicklung von Methoden und Prozessen im Bereich Radiosynthese
Gewährleistung einer reibungslosen und zeitgerechten Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Abteilungen sowie wissenschaftliche Ansprechperson für Kunden und abteilungsübergreifende Anfragen

Promotion in organischer Chemie mit mehreren Jahren einschlägiger Berufserfahrung (mehr als 5 Jahre) in der medizinischen Chemie und/oder organischen Synthese in einem CRO/CDMO-Umfeld
Erfahrung in der Führung und Weiterentwicklung von Mitarbeitenden (m/w/d)
Erfahrung in der Synthese von¹⁴C/³H-radioaktiv markierten Verbindungen ist von Vorteil
Hervorragende Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Wort und Schrift in Englisch, sowie mindestens Grundkenntnisse der deutschen Sprache
Ausgeprägte organisatorische Fähigkeiten und Problemlösungskompetenz, hohe Eigeninitiative

Teamlead (m/f/d) Isotope Chemistry

Planning, coordination, and execution of radiosynthesis projects (¹⁴C, ³H) in a CRO environment
Leadership and technical development of the radiosynthesis team
Ensuring high-quality, timely, and customer-oriented project delivery
Coordinating activities to ensure optimal use of resources and achievement of financial targets
Further development of methods and processes in the field of radiosynthesis
Ensuring smooth and timely collaboration with other departments, as well as serving as the scientific point of contact for clients and cross-departmental inquiries

PhD in Organic Chemistry with several years of relevant professional experience (more than 5 years) in medicinal chemistry and/or organic synthesis in a CRO/CDMO environment
Experience in leading and developing team members
Experience in the synthesis of ¹⁴C/³H radiolabeled compounds is an advantage
Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, as well as at least basic knowledge of German
Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities, with a high level of initiative
