Tech lead "Wallet"

The company offers one of the most trusted decentralized custody protocol, smart wallet infrastructure and platfom, as well as a flagship wallet for the ecosystem on Ethereum and the EVM.

With 25 Millions transactions handled worth 65 Billion dollars they are on a mission to unlock digital ownership for the world by continuing building robust and accessible tools that adress  web3’s biggest challenges.

Other locations : teams in the UK, Switzerland, Spain and  Portugal

TECH STACK : 

• Smart contracts: Written in Solidity
  
• Backend services: Written in TypeScript and Python, hosted at AWS, orchestrated via Kubernetes
  
• Web app: Modern web tech stack with React.js and Next.js
  
• Mobile apps: Currently Kotlin and Swift, potentially ReactNative or similar in the future
  
• Extensive test suites: E2E via Cypress, Postman, Unit tests in TypeScript/Jest
  

MISSIONS

You will be responsible for scaling and leading the company’s wallet tech team and actively driving technical thought leadership for all things related to the company’s Wallet product which manages many high -value safes, giving you the opportunity to work on a project that is used by teams and individuals managing digital assets that have real value.

As tech lead, you will significantly influence the future of the entire project.

You will support the team with setting up and maintaining services that support the wallet’s  infrastructure on many Ethereum networks.

Your role will involve ensuring all services stack is up and running by providing bug fixes and infrastructure updates :

• Ensure technical quality, scalability, and security of the company’s Wallet.
  
• Closely collaborate with stakeholders and leads across product, engineering, design and QA on the product strategy and roadmap processes.
  
• Provide in -depth feedback on strategy, roadmap and other product topics.
  
• Add own ideas wherever suitable.
  
• Provide feedback on the “What?”, Own/Drive the “How?”.
  
• Own roadmap and product development process and coordinate with product team on new epics.
  
• Lead and direct the wallet engineering team through technical challenges and performance goals.
  
• Propose improvements to existing processes.
  
• Drive system architectural decisions.
  
• Coordinate with the Core team and external partners on technical decisions.
  
• People management of mobile, web and backend leads.
  
  

Profil

• Strong technical background in software engineering with progression to a strategic level (8+ years experience in various programming languages).
  
• Experience architecting scalable systems.
  
• Can transition systems through the different life cycles (simple low throughput service to complex highly scalable system).
  
• Experience leading an engineering team within a startup or bigger organization including mentoring responsibilities, interviewing for team growth and Objectives and Key Results (OKR) outlining.
  
• Ability to build systems on scale using AWS/infrastructure/devops.
  
• Experience leading a software product development process.
  
• Leadership experience in CI/CD across multiple teams.
  
• Nice to have : Familiarity with Solidity, EVM, EIPs, blockchain projects and smart contract concepts.
