Join our Design & Development Center in Dresden, Germany as a Technical Lead - 5G Firmware Verification, focusing on L1 PHY verification for 5G NR cellular modems.As a Technical Lead - 5G Firmware Verification, your responsibilities will include:

Designing and developing advanced verification environments and testbenches focusing on L1 PHY for 5G NR for both pre-silicon and post-silicon phases.
Collaborating with LTE/5G NR Modem Firmware Development, Systems & Algorithm Engineers to create functional and performance test cases for Layer 1 Firmware.
Refining L1 Firmware Verification plans aligned with feature specifications; analyzing 3GPP standards and modem specifications to ensure thorough test coverage.
Managing the setup and configuration of automated test systems
Triaging test failures in continuous integration and regression testing, coordinating closely with Firmware Developers for resolution.
Ownership of continuous improvement of verification methodologies.

Proficient in C/C++ programming and Python scripting.
Good understanding of 3GPP 5G NR Layer 1 standards and signaling procedures.
Hands-on experience with 4G/5G network testing equipment, such as Rohde & Schwarz and Anritsu, and tools like Logic Analyzers, with prior experience in equipment automation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills in both hardware and software.
Comfortable working in a Laboratory environment.
Experience in FPGA-based testing/debugging and virtual prototyping is preferred.
Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Able to perform effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with local language models (LLMs) in AI applications is advantageous.
