Technical Solution Architect (m/f/d) SAP Migration

As a Technical Solution Architect for SAP Migration, you will play a key role in transformation projects—from planning to the successful implementation of complex data migrations in SAP landscapes. You combine technical expertise with strategic insight to ensure that data is transferred to new systems securely, efficiently, and with the highest quality.

Your Responsibilities

• Technical design, planning, and management of SAP data migration projects as part of S/4HANA transformations, system conversions, and system consolidations


• Development of holistic migration strategies, architectures, and concepts based on existing system and data landscapes


• Analysis and evaluation of existing data structures, as well as definition of data cleansing and transformation approaches


• Design and implementation of scalable and automated migration processes and data validations


• Use and further development of SAP migration tools such as SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services, LTMC/LTMOM, BAPIs, IDocs, or other ETL technologies


• Close collaboration with solution architects, business units, developers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of the migration into the overall project


• Technical support for test cycles, cutover planning, and go-live activities


• Defining standards, best practices, and governance structures for data migrations, as well as handling documentation and knowledge transfer

Your Profile

• Several years of experience in SAP data migration, ideally in the context of S/4HANA transformations or complex SAP programs


• Experience in the technical architecture and design of data migration scenarios


• In-depth understanding of SAP data models and experience with at least one SAP module (e.g., MM, SD, PP, QM, EWM, or comparable)


• Practical experience with migration technologies such as SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services, LSMW, BAPIs, and IDocs, as well as a strong technical understanding of ABAP


• Very good understanding of data quality, data governance, and data harmonization


• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work


• Very good German and English language skills


• Willingness to participate in international projects
