In your role as Technical Trainer, you are responsible for the structured, certified qualification of our global Field Service staff on AIXTRON equipment. At the Headquarter Training Center, you plan and deliver hands-on trainings – from foundational courses to expert-level certifications. Through your work, you ensure the operational readiness of our organization and make sure our teams worldwide can perform at the highest level.

Your Challenge

• With your deep technical understanding and didactic strength, you make complex equipment technology tangible. You plan, develop and deliver training and certifications on AIXTRON MOCVD equipment, ensuring that every participant leaves with real, proven competence.
• You develop certification standards, examination criteria and structured qualification paths from Basic through Advanced to Expert level. Building and continuously evolving skill-level matrices and training materials is something you see as an exciting design task.
• You are involved early in  NPI (New product introduction) projects , ensuring that appropriate training concepts are in place in time for new tool variants.
• In close collaboration with colleagues from Service, Application, Engineering and Product Management, you ensure cross-departmental knowledge exchange and provide functional guidance to colleagues and co-trainers.
• You bring a high willingness to travel, as approximately 30% of your time may involve travel to our global sites to deliver on-site trainings and certifications.
• You continuously question existing training methods and certification processes and drive improvements forward in coordination with your manager.

What you bring

• You hold a technical degree or have completed a technical vocational training and bring at least 4 years of relevant experience in Service, Application or Engineering on semiconductor or MOCVD equipment.
• Regarding to your strong communication and presentation skills, you are able to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and structured manner – the fundamental prerequisite for your role as a trainer.
• As a quality-conscious personality, you work in a structured and detail-oriented way. Standards, examination criteria and traceable processes are not a necessary evil for you – they are your quality benchmark.
•  Excellent English skills, both written and spoken, are a given for you, as English is the training language. Good German language skills are an advantage.
