Technical Writer - German Speaking

As a Technical Content & UX Writer, you will be responsible for crafting and managing user-centric documentation that enhances the customer journey. From onboarding materials to technical guides and learning modules, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional content that empowers users to maximize the value of our solutions.

• Create and Maintain User-Centric Content:
  • Author, update, and manage documentation for Matrix42 applications, including learning modules (text and video) for our learning management system and help desk.
  • Edit and refine training manuals in collaboration with our trainers and subject matter experts.
• Project & Content Management:
  • Oversee content version tracking, plan translations and localizations, and manage external content providers and marketplaces.
  • Develop a content production framework and establish a media asset library.
• Collaborate & Innovate:
  • Work closely with project managers, designers, and engineering teams to ensure content aligns with product goals and user needs.
  • Proactively contribute to knowledge management and documentation improvement initiatives.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on the status of content projects and suggest strategies to scale documentation quality and standards.
  • Self-motivator who works well in a team environment and independently with little supervision
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both non-technical and technical people

Must-Haves:

• A degree in business informatics, technical documentation, e-learning, or equivalent experience (e.g., technical writer certification).
• In-depth knowledge of common authoring tools (MindTouch, Helpjuice, or similar) and article based, single sourced knowledge base software 
• Proven experience in e-learning and/or technical documentation.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and content structuring skills with a keen eye for design and usability.
• Project management experience, ideally in e-learning or content development.
• Proficiency with authoring tools and willingness to dive deep into Matrix42 products.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and spoken English and German skills.
