The User Experience team at AutoScout24 ensures that we create the right products to deliver delight to customers by working closely with cross-functional partners to establish best practices and  processes, develop an end-to-end product rollout plan, align cross-functional stakeholders on strategy,  track and communicate business metrics, and help scale product knowledge throughout the organisation.

We are currently looking for a UX Team Lead to join our B2C team. You will work in a dynamic collaborative team in our Munich or Berlin offices. Our work format is hybrid, and we meet in the office three times a week. 

What You’ll Do

• Lead and oversee the user experience of a product from conception to launch in partnership with product management, engineering, UX Research and UX Writing


• Cultivate a healthy design process for the team, and be a key contributor to your organisation's product strategy


• Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of AutoScout24 products


• Support growth and career progression and be an advocate for your team


• Facilitate strategic conversations and meetings to drive progress against goals


• Represent design in a variety of forums with product and engineering

What You Bring

• 5+ years of design leadership experience with direct reports under your guidance


• Understanding of the role of Design in a software development environment for e-commerce.


• Experience using data to identify problems and communicate solutions


• Strong communication and facilitation skills, written as verbal


• Experience working directly with product designers, UX Researchers, and UX Writers


• Experience leading product direction and strategic thinking with the experience developing product goals, identify opportunities, and make decisions based on the impact to people and the company


• Critical eye for high-craft design
