We are hiring a Work Package Manager for an international organisation in Munich, Germany, and various locations around Europe.

Main Responsibilities

Work Package Oversight & Delivery

• Manage the end‑to‑end delivery of each assigned Work Package Order, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, timelines, and quality standards set by the Agreement.


• Support the Contractor‑SDM by providing structured reporting, monitoring progress, and escalating issues when required.

Stakeholder & Customer Interface

• Act as the primary internal and external contact for the Work Package, ensuring smooth communication across all involved parties.


• Ensure that you, or a designated deputy, remain reachable and responsive during agreed service hours, in line with Key Personnel commitments.


• Clearly communicate any changes regarding responsibilities, reporting lines, or escalation procedures.

Coordination & Governance

• Contribute to the service governance model established by the Contractor‑SDM through consistent reporting, documentation, and structured follow‑up.


• Coordinate delivery teams and resources to ensure alignment with agreed plans and milestones.


• Ensure all deliverables meet defined quality expectations and comply with the contractual framework.

Risk, Issue, and Change Management

• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, or delivery challenges and implement mitigation actions.


• Manage change requests and ensure they are documented, validated, and escalated as needed.


• Support quality assurance, continuous improvement activities, and adherence to service standards.

Knowledge and skills

• Strong coordination, planning, and stakeholder‑management capabilities.


• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external partners.


• Solid understanding of service delivery, governance, and reporting principles.


• Ability to remain responsive and reachable as part of a Key Personnel function.


• Proactive problem‑solving attitude with attention to detail.


• Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.


• Proven experience in project or work package management within complex or contractual delivery environments.


• Experience engaging with institutional or public‑sector customers is considered an asset.


• English at level C1, knowledge of French and/or German would be an advantage
