We are currently offering the following position in Germany which is fully remote and requires approximately 50% of travelling. Sales Manager Medical DACH (d/f/m) Come join a fantastic team! In this exposed leadership position in Leica's Global Commercial Organization, you will be responsible for growing the market share of our medical microscopy product portfolio in an indirect go-to-market model. You will be responsible for the DACH region Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland and lead and develop a team of 8 associates. In this role you will report directly to the Medical Sales Director EMEA. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and execute local business strategy according with EMEA guidelines and deliver sustainable growth and significant share win based on a deep understanding of local market dynamics, future trends and competitive landscape Research and identify opportunities in line with strategic directives in order to generate sales, increase the installed base penetration, upsell existing contracts and expand the portfolio of solutions sold Defining yearly growth targets to Account Managers and/or Indirect Partners (Distributors, Resellers, Lead Finders), reporting monthly revenues and potential gaps vs. targets and support close gap actions in order to maximize business Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing base and provide transparent feedback to upper management and Business Units Generate and develop sales and solutions awareness through customer visits & solutions information, customer consultancies & workshops. Operate as a lead point of contact for the customer Actively drive new product introduction on assigned area in collaborations with the Market Development department and Marketing teams to maximize revenue Use Danaher Business Systems (DBS) tools, implement daily work and standard management on funnel management and forecasting YOUR PROFILE Degree in biomedical engineering, electronic engineering, or an equivalent scientific qualification Multiple years of strategic selling experience in a B2B sales environment within a matrix organization Prior experience and solid track record in a sales role in medical business Requires experience in leadership in sales management, opportunity assessment, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to comprehend scientific applications / markets and expert in sales growth processes (Funnel Management) Fluently German and English language skills At Leica Microsystems we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce.
