Founder's Associate Intern (d/f/m)

Join us on our mission: We're looking for a motivated Founder's Associate Intern (d/f/m) to help us scale our company and drive venture-building initiatives as we work towards building Europe’s largest Virtual Power Plant (VPP) together with Enpal, Europe’s biggest Greentech unicorn.
This role is about developing and executing strategies to support sustainable growth and operational scalability. You’ll work closely with our founding team and key stakeholders to identify opportunities, optimize processes, and lay the foundation for long-term expansion.If you're eager to learn, excited about scaling businesses, and ready to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you!

• Location: Munich, Germany
• Employment Type: Intern, 3-6 Months
• Office-first work setup

Language Requirement: C1 Level English +  C1 Level German

• Support the scaling and expansion of our company by identifying key opportunities for growth and operational efficiency.
• Work closely with founders and stakeholders to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive sustainable business expansion.
• Assist in structuring and optimizing internal processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Take a hands-on role in business development, partnerships, and strategy execution to accelerate company growth.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable business models that will support our long-term success.

This internship is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in venture building, business scaling, and strategy execution while working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• You are currently pursuing or have already completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field at a top university.
• You have experience in a fast-paced environment, such as a startup, consulting, venture building, or a high-growth company.
• You have a strong analytical mindset and can quickly grasp complex concepts and market dynamics, allowing you to make data-driven hiring decisions.
• You work independently and reliably, taking full ownership of your responsibilities while proactively driving initiatives forward.
• You possess excellent communication skills and thrive in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment where collaboration is key.
  You are eager to learn how to strategically build and scale ventures
• You set high standards for your work, approaching tasks with a structured, problem-solving mindset and a strong sense of accountability.
• You are fluent in English (C1 level); German is a plus.

I'm Fabian, Co-founder at Flexa. My passion for the energy transition began early, during my first internship at a wind farm contractor when I was just 16. Watching those massive turbines rise from the ground was a moment of awe that still resonates with me. After starting a few of my own ventures and completing my studies in Finance, I transitioned into the consulting industry, where I eagerly immersed myself in energy projects. From that point on, I was hooked.
