Looking for an opportunity to join a team that's doing things differently in the start-up world? At EWOR, we're disrupting entrepreneurship in Europe by combining an entrepreneurship academy with an early-stage venture capital firm.

During this internship, you will play a vital role in supporting our HR and Communications team. You will work closely with the team to develop and execute strategies that enhance our employee experience and strengthen our external communications.

The Basics

  • The Internship will start in February 2024
  • The EWOR internship will last three months
  • Since this is an unpaid opportunity, it is especially important to us that you benefit from your internship by acquiring new skills!

Tasks

  • Helping to attract top talent to our team by assisting with the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. You'll play a critical role in identifying the best candidates to help us achieve our mission.
  • Assisting our Events Coordinator and Community Manager in planning our largest bi-annual event.
  • Creating and curating engaging content for our social media channels, and learning and applying (SEO) skills to optimise articles and blog posts. You'll have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and passion for entrepreneurship by helping to manage our online presence.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR documents, including handbooks and marketing information. You'll be a key player in ensuring that our team has the information they need to succeed.
  • Contribute to internal and external communications initiatives, such as designing, preparing, and sending offer and rejection letters, emails, and messages to candidates. You'll have the opportunity to showcase your attention to detail and excellent communication skills in this critical role.

Requirements

  • Fluent English speaker and have gained experience in an English-speaking country
  • Flawless in English grammar / spelling / punctuation
  • Reliable, independent, and well-organised in remote work
  • You are enrolled at a university and studying marketing/media/communication/linguistics/literature/languages or similar (optional)
  • You want to learn more about communications
  • Enjoy researching and writing on a variety of topics
  • You like to work independently and can manage your working hours well, but you also feel comfortable working in a team
  • Organised and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and so on.
