Then our open position as Intern (f/m/d) Purchasing might be the perfect next step in your personal development journey! We are looking for a motivated intern to support our team with hands-on and analytical tasks by helping prepare sourcing activities, tracking supplier readiness and milestones, maintaining material and cost data, and contributing to reporting and committee documentation. The HOLON Purchasing Team strives to establish a reliable and resilient partnership ecosystem to complement our company’s R&D activities with the best possible solutions on the market in the fields of hardware, software, and development services. In this role, you support planning, tracking, and process improvement activities that help keep purchasing operations transparent and continuously optimized. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on insights into automotive and high-tech supplier ecosystems by supporting supplier scouting activities, preparation of negotiations, and related purchasing initiatives.
Your respective scope of responsibility:
- Support sourcing planning and help prepare and follow up on series nominations or prototype orders
- Track supplier production readiness and industrialization progress by following milestones such as tool orders or other supplier development deliverables
- Support material data management and contribute to material cost tracking and evaluation
- Track performance in indirect procurement
- Support project management tasks by preparing documents for internal committees such as global sourcing meetings, spend control tower, and product board
- Perform a holistic review of purchasing processes and support continuous optimization initiatives
- Prepare and participate in supplier meetings and partner workshops
