Intern - Securities & Collateral Clearing Design (f/m/d)

The section Securities & Collateral Clearing Design is responsible for the strategic development of securities & collateral clearing services for Eurex Clearing AG. Main objective is to create new clearing concepts and to refine existing services based upon requirements from connected trading locations, regulatory authorities, and customers. This ensures efficient and transparent post-trade services across all asset classes. Our attitude is solution oriented and “to make clearing happen”.

Your area of work

You have the possibility to change your perspective from an observer of Deutsche Börse Group’s markets, towards becoming an active part of the clearing house’s architecture team. As part of a diverse group, you will experience the functions of an active risk-, position-, and delivery management as well as driving projects to optimize processes of the clearing house. You will grow with your tasks and turn challenges into milestones of your curriculum. As architects of trusted markets, your involvement will play a key role in their development. Your responsibilities:

• Support the team and project management in developing business concepts


• Collaborate on designing data-driven business concepts and innovative solution findings


• Contribute by conducting market and competitor analysis


• Design and develop interactive data visualizations and business intelligence dashboards


• Evaluate internal processes and experience the coordination of content in cooperation with related teams


• Support the team in providing reports and statistical analysis to management

Your profile:

• You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least two semesters (Study focus in the field of informatics, mathematics, physics, economics, finance, business studies, data analytics or other relevant fields)


• You have a strong interest in financial and capital markets, especially in the context of clearing


• You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with an independent and structured working style


• You are a proactive and communicative team player with a high level of initiative and a curiosity for new technologies


• You have strong knowledge of data visualization tools and the Microsoft Office suite (especially Power BI and Excel), complemented by experience with data analytics, machine learning, and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL)


• You are proficient in written and spoken English; a working knowledge of German is beneficial
