Job Description

  • During your internship you will extend battery models for aging analysis.
  • You will simulate various charging scenarios (V2H, V2G, uncontrolled charging, fast charging) and optimize charging strategies considering market and climate conditions.
  • Moreover, you will analyze and evaluate data.
  • Finally, you will create scientific documentation and presentations.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master studies in the field of Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Computer Science, Cybernetics, Physics or comparable
  • Experience and Knowledge: excellent Python skills (numpy, pandas, scipy, sklearn); experience in battery modeling; solid knowledge in the optimization and simulation of energy systems; experience with version control systems (e.g. Git); basic understanding of aging processes in lithium-ion batteries
  • Personality and Working Practice: you are highly motivated with a strong ability to work independently, while also excelling in team environments
  • Languages: fluent in German and/or English

Additional Information

Start: according to prior agreement

Duration: 6 months

Requirement for this internship is the enrollment at university. Please attach your CV, transcript of records, enrollment certificate, examination regulations and if indicated a valid work and residence permit.
