Internship Merchandise Planning (m/f/d)

HUGO BOSS AG | Metzingen near Stuttgart | Germany | Full-time


 



We are looking for a highly motivated intern (m/f/d) to join our Planning team starting 1st April for a duration of 6 months. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in merchandise planning within a global fashion brand.


 



 



What you can expect:



  • Support all planning steps, including net sales planning, product group planning, and buying budget planning.




  • Gain insights into strategic assortment planning by collaborating with the buying team to create and optimize assortments.




  • Assist in creating and updating global order and sell-out analyses for all retail channels by collecting and consolidating data from various sources and databases.




  • Provide weekly merchandise reporting and ad hoc analyses to monitor retail business performance.




  • Support planning and buying teams with order entry using SAP transactions to ensure timely delivery and accurate system updates.




  • Work closely with teams such as Global Buying, Marketing, In-Season Response, and Business Units to provide relevant merchandising information and prepare presentations (e.g., for Marketing or Board meetings).

Your profile:



  • You studied or you are studying (and have successfully completed the first semesters) Economics, Business Administration, Fashion Management, Business Informatics, Finance/Accounting, or a related field.




  • Analytical thinker with a strong affinity for numbers.




  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.




  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.




  • Effective problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.




  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
